It’s from the same bad batch of springs. What’s your point?

What about it? How many have actually had problems, vs how many that were sold so far?

My motor was built at the Performance Center, but had a 7/2020 build date.

I'm at 5K+. She's have been redlined at the track plus I've rapped it out on the street. No issues.

I am hoping that the failures appear within the first 500 to 700 miles. I just purchased a 2021 built in August. Having dealt with another dealer and the A8 automatic transmission shudder fluid change at 81,000 miles (they continually denied it was an issue under the original power train warranty) and then refused to cover it under my extended warranty. Needless to say, I went to another dealer with better reviews when purchasing this vehicle.

It appears that most failures happen with a few hundred miles. There’s been more than a few cars not even make it home from the dealer. I’m at 900 miles now and I don’t even think about it anymore.

You should be good to go now at 900 miles.

I am 1200 miles now and still fine. Gave it a work out today on our clubs vette cruise. Did a few runs over 120mph and it was fine.

Should replace the whole car and GM should eat the cost.
