Are you going to put a spacer up front or just live with it?
Spacer won't be enough. I'm looking at Forgelines now. The step lip is toward the center of the wheel so much more clearance on the inside.

The front tire is a 225/60/18 its a goodyear assurance I think, I have never weighed the front . But since you asked ,I just put it on my scales and it said 32.2 but I find that hard to believe . The reason being , I thought the rim was 17lbs. and the tire according to tirerack is 21 which should be 38 . The rear is a nitto nto5r 305/45/18. When I looked for front tires , I looked for at least a h rating , looked for diameter close to the rear tire and I looked for the lightest tire I could find according to tirerack specs . Would have been nice to have the same brand all around just for the looks thing . there is a pic of them on the car in the drag wheel thread . Car is being lowered one inch so hopefully they wont rub anywhere. Rear brake cables are tied back btw.

So the inner grove is from the strut or is it from the long bolt on the arm? That sucks either way.....

I wish i had just did 15s in the 1st place. The rims are cheaper and the tires are $100 a piece cheaper with a lot more sizes and tread compounds to choose from. The initial cost to do the conversion is the only downfall. Carlyle racing has a sale on their 15" kit right now.

I sent mark a message on FB and never heard back.

I want to make sure I don't regret getting 17-18" rims and screwing myself later by having to buy more stuff to replace other stuff I already bought.

I had 17, just converted to 15 over the winter. No runs on 15's yet. Like someone else said, more tire selection, cheaper tires and having the extra sidewall is always a plus. Wish I had done 15 from the start.

When are you expecting it in? Are you just adding it to the stock rear or putting it on a 9"?

Thats what I'm leaning towards.

My buddy is running that setup with the 315/40/17 and isn't cutting a better 60' then I am, which is why I'm thinking about going 15".
