Stock '12 SS needed for Shorty header and 102mm TB testing
My contacts at a performance company reached out to me to see if I could get some help from the C5 community. They need a bone stock 2012 SS to bolt their shorty headers and 102mm throtle body to in order to get them C.A.R.B. approved.
This testing is done by a state inspection station and will require you to be without your car for about 10 days. (Usually takes about 3 days per part) It will not be driven all over So Cal by a 16 year old, it will be driven to the site by a company employee and the state research board members will conduct the testing. The testing can take up to 8 business days, if they get it done quicker, you get your car back quicker. Once the testing is complete, the performance company will pick the car up and get it back in your loving hands. Where this is such a pain in the ass process, the company will give the person that is amazing enough to allow them access to the car for testing both products (about $1000 in parts) free of charge. Plus you will be able to say that XXX's products are availble because you are so awesome. I have gone through this process in the past, but my car is just a little bit outside of the "stock" range so I am ineligible, otherwise, I would be doing it again. If you are interested, shoot me a PM and I'll get you intouch with the company rep and let you hash out the time line and details.

I'm currently running their 95mm TB on my car and it was used for a lot of the testing for both of them. I also have their LT headers and had their first CAI until I put the Maggie on and it put the MAF too far away from the plug. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No problem.
Unfortunately they have to have a '12. There is something specific with the evap system they have to have evaluated so the car that is selected has to have the correct sticker under the hood. I didn't get into the specifics about it but Anthony @ BBK will go over the entire process and all the details prior to the owner saying yes or no. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No worries.
Anyone know of a '12 that may be willing to take part in this?
