Here are some pics of my Epco Rally Knob. If fits my hand much better than the stock Hurst Shifter Knob, more comfortable, and I think its easier to shift. The height of it seems shorter based on my feel and it looks 100 times better.

mikey did you decide on anything? I think I might just take the plunge but I'm apprehensive, I'm worried whatever I buy may not fit.

THAT looks real good! Do those knobs take the ware and tear of everyday driving like a champ or do they tend to show the usage? How long do they last?

I'm deciding between Epco or Speed Dawg, just because Epco can't make a website to save their life. I'll probably do a GM licensed knob with 60s-70s writing on it.

Thanks, it's been on a week and it seems like it will last but only time will tell I guess. I think it's made very well just like a bowling ball as Epco makes them as well so it should stand up to some abuse.

The other day I drove my cousin's mustang, and I began to notice how much I hate the 2012 shifter knob on the Camaro. I have the factory hurst option, which I like, so I would just want to change the knob if possible. Can the 2012 knob be replaced with the 2013 knob? Or would I have to swap the whole shifter?
Yes they can be swapped. It's a simple push on design.

Thanks Stig. I don't see why they didn't just go with a threaded design.

I did notice that the "leather" on the 2013 knob and boot is way thinner, and cheaper feeling then the 2010's. looks good, and a hair blacker than the 2010 grayish color.
There was a Hurst option on the 2013, but its discontinued now.

Here's mine:

Okay, after a screw up on the original order (my fault), I finally installed the new knob!
I am very impressed with the quality and customer service from Speed Dawg, and I would HIGHLY recommend them. Here is a nasty iPad pic after I installed it. I can take a better one tomorrow if anyone wants.

That looks great!

Mike what was it exactly that you had to order? Non-threaded kit or the Universal insert and boot retainer?
