Haven't seen the commercial as it is blocked here at work LOL, but those are actually pretty nice little cars. There is supposed to be a turbo version coming with 208 HP and weighing arounf 2700 pounds.

Lots of great advanced designing ideas started out with a lot of naysayers.

But there are many more stupid ideas that go nowhere. This is one of them. C'mon they gotta protect these stupid people from getting out into traffic?

Um, that's what Darwin is for.

FYi, the real reason for the 3 door setup is to allow some practicality while saving weight, which was a big part of this car.
