But what do you guys think on COSTCO gas? I've seen a lot of "rich" people with High end cars at their gas stations so I'm thinking it's not that bad...???
I see I got a lot to learn here. I seriously thought gas was just, yeah, gas? Iīm not from the US, and not used to gas being different depending on where you go. Where Iīm from gas is gas, and it doesnīt really matter where you get it, itīs the same.

So, where should I buy those precious drops for my sweet Camaro?

Gas always peaks around the month of May recently.
You do know petrol is traded...

I dont think an unexpected phenomena is needed for it to increase. It isnt on supply and demand. There is more literature about this if needed. Or just search on line.

Filled up yesterday... $3.56 a gallon... nice to see the prices come down finally. Wonder if we'll see prices below $3 a gallon again.

When I moved to the USA almost 10 years ago, gas was $1.17 a gallon!

I am well aware it is traded, but take a look at the price charts for the past seven years...in general, they peak in May, and hit their low in the fourth quarter.

It was $3.47 here in Lansing, MI. No matter how bad you got it, there's always someone got it worse.

Here is what I don't like about how we are being controlled by gas prices. First of all, $3.12 is NOT cheap, it's cheap when you compare it to $4.00 and above.

Suppose, all along gas was $1.69/gallon, and then one morning you woke up and went to go get gas and it was $3.12. How "cheap" would it be then?

That's how we are being controlled. They make gas go to $4.00 and above (even over $5.00 in some areas) and then when it goes down to $3.12 it looks good. It's STILL too expensive for gas, don't let them mind control you.

nah. gas coming down is actually a bad thing. the only reason it's coming down is because people are worried that the euro is about crash and the EU might break up. because of that, everyone is dumping their euro's for US dollars. that's causing the dollar to strengthen. and since all commodities are priced in US dollars, a stronger dollar will result in cheaper commodities. Gold is taking a beating because of this. Also, Chinese growth is looking like it's slowing more than expected.

even though it's bringing cheap gas, the problems in Europe, slowing in china, and our own debt problems will most likely lead to another global recession. and a pretty bad one at that. :(
