Just sold GTR, talking with 3 dealers zl1 1le

What price should I be looking at negotiating to before tax and fees and all that? All these dealers are playing hardball like the 1LE is the rarest vehicle in the world which doesn’t make sense because they have been on the lots for months. One dealer is only offering the $2,000 conquest. And says the vehicle is to rare and in hot demand.

Those dealers probably get one a year. What do you want Costco pricing? It is not a Chevy volt. It is a limited production car. If you want to negotiate and hold dealers against each other, go buy a hellcat. 30,000 hell cats have been produced. If you pay MSRP the dealer will make about $4200. Just like what you do for a living you make money. Dealers work on averages. Hopefully we could agree on a car like that they can make some money? Pick a dealer and go in person & they will be willing to work with you. You know how many people call on the phone and asked what the best price is on that ZL1 1LE?

It's not near as bad as trying to deal on a GTR, so not sure why you complaining.

There are a few for sale here in GA for far less, crap I paid $12k under sticker for my 1LE and that wasn’t the record...

A large part of it is timing though, so make sure you keep an eye out on a large number of dealers.

Good luck getting a helpful answer here, seriously it can get pretty toxic in these forums. But if you have the cash you have the buying power. Look around, use autotempest.com and look nationwide. You will find the right deal, be willing to ship the car to you. Good luck in your search, and go to ctsvowners.com forums or Corvette forums for technical advise on the LT4 and Alpha chassis respectively. People there tend to be a lot more mature/helpful.

It’s not that. If you were a dealership would you negotiate on the phone for the (1) car you have in the showroom? Not only that would you want to negotiate knowingly the customer speaking with two other dealers? Typically customers use that information against the dealer that’s willing to talk over the phone.

If you are willing to get it from a dealer in Ohio, I will refer my dealer - they offered a great price with non of the usual smoke and mirrors.

Provide some insight. Break down where the $12+ in discount came from....which specific rebates, supplier pricing, vouchers, hard money off MSRP on the sale price line etc.

You have to understand why people aren’t apt to believe a simple “I paid $12+ under MSRP”. There’s been more than one AMAZING deal posted but yours would take the cake by a long shot. Help us fellow members out with our future purchases!

As an employee price I came nowhere near that If it was remaining 17 I still do not even see it w/ Employee. This is a 18 as we all know. Are you sure it wasn’t a Silverado 1500?
