MMR Finish Durability

A shout out to MMR durability.
It is great finish and durable.
Had the 228 on my dropped convertible for 18 months now and it’s a daily driver.
Have logged close to 20k and the finish is still like new.
I did remove the wheels and yes I clay barred and polished the black finish. I got bored with the holiday time off from work.
It came back to a deep highly glossed finish.
Outstanding MRR!

My MRR228s OEM painted gloss black finish was significantly better than GM OEM painted satin black finish on my 1LE's stock wheels.

That isn't saying very much though, as the rattle-can spray paint job I did on my Husky bike when I was 7, was a better finish than what GM did on my OEM wheels.

  • G2s: Rock throwing is like like a tramp stamp; although problematic, it's a sign of good things to come.

Pavlos, please be sure to open the back of each box. I think something may have been put in one of the boxes for your patience waiting for the wheels to come in.
Enjoy !!!

Nothing bad to say about the wheels themselves, but the finish on my black wheels seems to chip just looking at them. Seems as if I'm using touch up paint after washing the car, just about every time.
