Transmission and Differential Fluids

Hi Guys,

I need some help figuring this out.

I have 2011 2LT (auto) and i would like to change the Transmission and Differential Fluids

Does anyone know any good brands of these fluids to purchase?
Also how much is needed for both?

I found a DYI for the Differential for the car but could not find one for the transmission, does anyone have any guides or instructions or videos for this aswell?

I am looking to change it this weekend so any help would be appreciated

And i apologize if this was asked before but i did try the search feature few times, i could not locate any threads that had all the info i needed.

Thank You

-Vin

diff fluid, you'll need a little over 1 qt. so buy 2. not sure about the trans fluid for the auto.

also, I recommend royal purple.

Here's a good post that will get you started- http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...smission+fliud

+1 on the Royal Purple. I thought that stuff was just a gimmick, but after trying many brands in my manual trans I found out it works!
Figure their auto stuff is good too!

I just made a purchase from Andy @ AMSOIL, nice very knowledgeable guy and great price if you PM him. Their site has a complete list of all fluids and quantity for our Camaro's.

Also look at how quick it breaks down through oil analysis and how the tranny feels... you may be surprised at what you find
