Is the thermal coating from stainless works worth it for DD?
So I'm ordering LTH and exhausts from stainless works and was wondering if the $450.00 thermal coating option is worth it for a dd Camaro.

Depends on what you are looking to achieve. Will it impact performance? No. Will it look nice under the hood? Yes.

Agreed, it sure does look nice but in unless you're hot lapping at the track on 90+ degree days (I doubt you see to many of those) you won't benefit from any performance gains.

Why dont you get them powered coated at Advanced Power Coating out in Wasilla. They do a fanstatic job and are cheap. They did my hot pipes on my turbo kit (ceramic silver.) Turned out awsome.

I have a guy who ceramic coated mine for $225. They look great. Since mine is more of a show car I wanted something that will make it look nice when the hood is opened and everyone is looking under the hood.
