Another intake manifold option I stumbled across...
While doing some research for a future experiment, I stumbled across this:
It's a crossover style setup, similar to... The one you're all waiting for... IMO, this company has done the hardest part for you, the rest is left up to your imagination and the limitation of your skills (or wallet to pay for someone elses skills)... I guess these are built for an ITB setup, but if you wanted to build a plenum for each side and run dual TB's it would be possible, or even dual plenums into one TB... If I still have a v8 car, I would have a set of these on the way to me right now... http://www.jenvey.co.uk/home/manifol...s3-sfd52-mct03 They've also got them available for LS 1/2/6 and 7 Last edited by Jason@JacFab; 06-12-2014 at 09:54 PM. |

Great find. Not a bad deal at $700 bucks.

I have built intake manifolds in the past and the runners are the tricky part of it. The plenum is the easier part in comparison. However IMHO the Vararam product looks pretty good.

It does look good... But when will it come out? Hence why I posted this, it seems like a great basis for a lot of builds and it's available now.

In that case why not just modify a Holley ram phenomenon. A lot less complicated then even this option.

Runners are too short on the holley. They kill low end tq.

Check out how their velocity stacks seem to have the same bolt pattern as the throttle body base. To be able to tuck those in a plenum would probably aid airflow with the port transition from round to rectangular.
Seems like a viper style dual plenum could be fabricated to keep the height low and leave the injectors and rails where they're at. |

I'd like to have it with the itb's... if only it wasn't $4k.... Still a better option than the unicorn-ram at this point.
