The GM intake is easy to install and looks great once in place. Love your engine bay so far.

Great looking engine bay. I'm also adding the GM CAI as soon as the car comes out of storage in the coming weeks. Was lucky enough also to find a set of dark GM tail lights. Their being shipped to me as we speak. Ordered the matching third brake light and stainless steel pedals. Also have a plaque to mount on the fuse box. Can't wait to get it all installed with the GM tune.

Looking for suggestions on the strut bar. Mine's just the plain silver color. I see many are having them painted. I'd be ok for now with even a nice decal which are hard to find in canada.

Painted mine myself using rattle cans. Cleaned the bare aluminum, used a rattle can primer first. Then 4-5 coats of NGM(139x) for the center section, and the
Orange U Tempted(408Y) for the end pieces. Also added a couple coats of VHT gloss clear on top.

That sounds easy enough I might try that thanks. I just assumed I'd have to take it to a paint shop.

Yours looks good but I didn't want to paint the manifold cover. I take it you used the same paint on that ?
