The slowest 580 horsepower car I ever had. Heat soak city. I had to plan my WOTs on the highway because I only had 2 at most. SMH.

Or for 7k more get a used 2017 ZL1. Faster, looks better (fact), more comfortable, and better tech.

I wonder if it has a bad supercharger as some of the 2012s and some 2013s had them replaced under warranty.

That bad it was. The gen 6 fixed the gen 5 and the Z06. <—

I would rather have a higher mileage gen 6 ! Some museum might want it, it's a beautiful car ! I used to want one, looks a Z28 with cam and headers would be a better car !

Say what you want guys, but that is a badass car that's essentially new! Personally, I think it's a waste that the owner picked it up and wrapped it in a bubble like it's a 918 Spyder or Enzo that's going to appreciate in value. Regardless, I think the 5th gen ZL1, Z/28, and SS 1LE are really good looking! Yes they're bulky, yes the interior ergonomics were designed for looks over function, and yes the 6th Gen is an upgrade in almost every measurable way, but c'mon... Keep in mind, I'm not a Camaro guy. I'm predominantly a German car guy, but owning a 6th Gen ZL1 has really changed my perception. I've had my car a few months short of a year, and by now I'm usually scouting my next car. I would keep whatever sports car I buy an average of 18 months, and at 12 months I start scouting and then shopping for my next ride. This time around (even with all the downfalls of the ZL1: big size, lack of interior storage space, heavy, horrible visibility, 13mpgs average fuel economy for my style of driving), I've yet to look over the fence and salivate over the next car. I really like this thing! Since buying it, I'm really appreciating the exterior styling of the higher models 5th gen.

It is a good deal/purchase for someone looking for a slightly used/like new 2013 ZL1! My 2017 ZL1 was like this Camaro in that it only had 422 miles and 2 years old. The owner never really drove it and it was just like new and all the paperwork and everything else was in the trunk when I bought it at the Chevy dealership where he bought it. He had to sell it because the wifey was going to have a baby and his toy had to go and according to the salesman he was almost crying when he sold it back to the dealership. His loss, my gain.

My son has a 2013 SS and It is no wear near in whaling of the 6th gens. The 5th gen is a big step down.
