I heard the Fore system is pretty awesome!

No doubt you can make 850whp with cam, low side, and 2650 on pump gas 93. It’s been done many times before.

Which exceeds my goals... I'd be OK with that. I am also on the fence if I should do the ATI lower while it's apart. Is a lower pulley swap needed at my goals with the other mods?

The ATI balancer is a much better unit than stock. You will also need to change out the front seal to an LS unit. It’s much tighter sealing and recommended by most.

You can always buy the parts and then take them to the boulder to install. You will save on taxes at least. I almost bought the Mag 2650 from Juiced for a killer price. Just opted to port the stocker instead and save some coin.

The goals i set for my build i think are reasonable for a street car. I am not out for the High hp builds that start jeapardizing reliability and the ability to drive it anywhere. Last thing i want after the build is to listen to my wife to keep telling me i should have left it alone

LOL I wish there was a like button so I could hit it.

Unfortunately I am already hearing it and I haven't started. I am more worried about the oil pump than the build.

The stock balancer is trash. An ATI or IW overdrive balancer is a good way to add boost without worrying about belt slip. If you're installing a cam at the same time there wouldn't even be a charge for this as the stock balancer needs to come off anyway.

I agree...seems like 15% is the most common on the various threads i have read. And on the Magnuson or Edelebrock to run 90-100mm if only using 93 gas.

So, after talking to several shops. The build is starting to look like i will do cam, 2650, ATI lower, and maybe 90 upper. I am torn between the 95mm and 103mm tb and i will use American Racing 2" headers with their midpipes and some resonators into stock muffler. For the low side i plan to use the JMS fuel pump booster. Pretty much following a Janetty build on 93 made 840RWHP. I will be ok with 800 +/-. I am surprised that a few shops said the 103 and big gulp is overkill at this power level. They suggest the 95 and regular air box not the Big Gulp. If i do go that route, should i still get the 103 snout for better airflow?

I would just jump to the 103 snout and throttle body personally. With your goals you will be fine on the 95 or even a stock/ported throttle body but I'd highly recommend the 103 snout. It's cheaper when you buy it up front and you really can't sell the 90 snout later on because no one needs them. A JMS booster should get you there but I'd still feel more comfortable with a aux pump.

Interested in the final pieces you choose as I'm looking at a similar build.
Once you decide when are you planning to get things done?
I'm in New Orleans and don't mind shipping the car as there are some good shops. Need to make some calls and also see what the budget will hold.

Plan to do very soon. Depending on where you go figure 15-22k. From the shops that I narrowed it down to from 6 that is the range.

Definitely go with Roto and 103 but don't use an adapter on the supercharger or you just defeated the purpose of a 103..
