TEST YOUR CAR

I am setting up a private test and tune session at Darlington Dragway for Feb 13 2021. This is a 1/4 mile track that will be prepped with safety equipment present. We will have the track for 6 hours. We have a limit of 10 teams/cars. The cost is $200. We will have Feb 14 2021 as a backup for rain. If you want to be included contact me at jburford@partnermd.com. Or call 864 350 9597 and leave a message or text.

Same here. But most nights last year there were so many people running and multiple breakdowns on the track that a person could only get one or two passes during the session. Not a bad price if you’re serious about getting some quality time at the drag strip.

Typically, the track prep is not that great on test & tune nights. This is at least my experience based on racing at Indianapolis Raceway Park (ie. Lucas Oil Raceway) and generally get about 4 passes in or so (though I've gotten lucky sometimes and got 10 runs in).

So $200 might be a good deal depending on how many passes you can get and how well the track is prepped, especially if you are going for absolute best possible times for your setup.

From my speculation and experience,

Weather there should be great that time of year
6 hours 10 cars you will be done making passes before time runs out
usually you can talk to the track crew to prep well and they will but it depends

Well worth the $$ - very very fun. I have done many rentals myself.

Test you car

I did this last year and have nothing but praise for the track prep and crew the track was swept and sprayed multiple times and a Shelby Mustang set the national record for the current date at the time mid 9's at 139 and a ZR 1 vette set his personal best. One car made 14 passes tuning for 60 foot times for a bracket car.
