Now NASCAR is reporting they don't know when they will make their announcement.

I hate to say it but that dosen't sound very good.

That was a bad wreck. Tire & suspension parts went into stands. Royal Purple suite states debris hit there glass window 14 rows up. Prayers to fans injured.

Reports now say 15 people were taken to the hospital and at least one is in surgery.

Watch replay again, looks like front spring went into upper deck. Wow, no dodging that coming at you. Those stands are really steep, not like you could get out of the way.

Like I said a double catch fence would have stopped most of that.

I'm pretty sure they already are. Shear forces like that no tether would hold it ..
Kyle Petty was just talking about they will have to look into the wheel tethers and see where they can be improved.

7:00 pm the track officials will be giving a report on the condition of the 15 that were injured. It will be on Speed Channel.

They just showed a entire wheel tire hub and part of the suspension assembly sitting in one of the seats way up in the first section of seats. Wow.

I was wondering why they didn't show the replay. Did that stand out to you guys to? Usually if there is a big wreck they'll show it over and over but not this time. On my TV they showed cars being towed away, 2 drivers were interviewed, and then they cut to the basketball game.

It left me with a disgusting feeling that somebody is in big trouble.

Or wait you guys saw 1 replay right after the crash?
