Looking for new tire info/adivce

Pardon me if this info is somewhere obvious, I've been looking around for a little while and haven't quite found my answer. My stock tires are needing to be replaced and I want an increased performance. I don't want to be limited to not driving in the rain so unfortunately the real good tires are not an option.

The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires seem to be an excellent option and I've read that the 285-305/30/20 are a good fit and also mimic the SS 1LE. This is where my understanding is very limited though, will those tires fit on the SS OEM wheels? Any advice or info is appreciated, thank you.

The NEXT time I replace the tires I might try to fit 315 or 325 but the info on those sizes seems to be quite lacking.

Q: ...will [285-302/30/20] tires fit on the SS OEM wheels?
A: No. The OEM SS wheels are 20"x8.5" front and 20"x9.5" rear. For the front 20"x8.5" wheels, you will want to stay with a 245 or 255. For the rear 20"x9.5" wheels, you will want to stay with a 275 or 285.

A: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S or Continental ExtremeContact Sport are the two hot tires for 3-season (non-winter), sport driving that can handle track exposure and that are excellent in the rain.

I'm having Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 installed tomorrow morning. They're an all season. Even though I will not be driving in snow, I may drive in 30 degree weather.

Thanks. Time to start looking at new wheels then! The MRR ZL1 1LE replicas look pretty nice.

I'm running MPS4S tires on MRR M228 Wheels:

Front: 20 x 9 , 275/35/20
Rear: 20 x 10 , 305/30/20

Everything fits perfectly and the Michelin tires are fantastic. Looking at the rears, I think that 315s might fit, anyone know for certain?

Option # 1 Wheels with 285/305 Nitto NT555G2
Option # 2 Wheels with 285/305 Pirelli P Zero
Option # 3 Wheels with 285/305 GDYR Supercar 3
Option # 4 Wheels with 285/305 MPSS

These were quoted to me by MRR.

It would be close. Would definitely want to relocate the wire harness before trying
