Def long term. Might switch up wheels someday but I really like the style and feel of the car.

"I'm 68. My car is 6 months old and it will be my last new car. "

I'm with you on this. Maybe I should have chosen an easier car to get in and out of as I 'age'.

Im most definitley keeping 6Gen. I feel like the first sports car you purchase is special and its must keep. Something to build a tradition off of and pass down.

I’m 62 I’m keeping mine till I drop dead or it gets demolished whichever comes first.
I’m suprised there’s so many of us old dudes on here.

Drove my 2000 Z28 for 8 years before going to the 16 SS. Definitely plan on going at least 8-10 years - which is part of how I sold my wife on the idea in the first place. Do my best to take care of it and keep it pristine, but definitely helps ease the mind when you aren't 100% focused on resale value.

It will depend on the pricing of the C8 Corvette.

As much money as I am dumping into in mods I don't plan on selling it anytime soon, at least 5 years if not closer to 10.

I bought my '16 SS in Dec of 2015. Hard to believe it's coming up on 4 years. I love it. I think they really nailed it with the 6th gen. My 12 year old son probably won't be able to sit in the back anymore once he's 16+, but at that point I won't be running him around anymore, he can get his own Camaro then and it'll ignite the passion for Camaro into a new fan. I would consider a 7th gen, but we'll have to see what happens. I still have my '96 Trans Am, and I'd have no problem keeping this car for a long time. Who knows, maybe I'll get an all electric Camaro some day, I am not opposed to the idea.

Depends on if there will be a 7th gen or not, or how much the C8 will cost. Right now I am coming up on 4 years this December of ownership, planning on at least another probably 2 - 3 years to keep it. I am just concerned long term A8 wise.

Depends. I'm sure I'd be interested in a Gen7, and if they don't continue the model I'd like to move up to a ZL1/1LE. So time will tell.

I know the feeling, I'm 55 with some lower disc problems.
Definitely plan on keeping her for a while, depends on how she holds up long term.

65 is the new 30, or something like that. Sounds good anyway.

I plan to hang on to my 18 ZL1... But, if they ever offer a manual in the C8... I might be tempted.

However, as long as the C8 has no manual, I'll never own one.

The only thing that will entice me to kick The Mistress to the curb is a LT5 Z/28 convertible.
