ZL1 A10's exceptional MPG
These were my results from a 40 mile cruise at 70 mph. I guess with a few traffic jams it averaged out to 65 mph. This is with 3 full sized adults in the car. I am not sure why we are paying a gas guzzler tax. What am I missing? I'm not a guy who drives very fast so this is may be what I'm most impressed with in this car and it does it without active fuel management. I am taking a trip from Texas to the California Redwoods this week and I hope to get better than 500 miles a tank.

Really wish this was reflected in the EPA estimate so the gas guzzler tax wasn't $1000 more than the 6MT...

I've never seen a car with this good of a real world gas mileage (and Z06) get hit with a $2000 gas guzzler tax. Something isn't right with this situation.

The government test is skewed more towards city driving.........the A10 gets thirsty going thru all the gears repeatedly from a stop....
I heard the Demon has a lower GG tax.....

I got 19.7 on a 1200 mile road trip in my M6. It was from Kansas City to Denver and back so one direction was uphill and the other downhill. I wasn't terribly impressed. This did include several stops and some city driving while in Denver.

I can't believe I just purchased a car that gets 24 mpg easy and I paid $2,300 in Gas Guzzler tax.
Then the Dodge Demon comes out and gets taxed half that.... WTH.. |

I averaged 24.4 yesterday on a 200 mile trip. All highway miles, with a few blasts while passing cars.

And I paid double the GG Tax of the last ZL1 M6 that couldn't get 20 mpg.
