Waiting time for Gen6 - Page 2

Ordered mine 5.5 weeks ago. Its estimated build date is the week of 9/21 and likely be delivered 2 weeks or so after that. In total, my wait will be approx. 10 weeks.

Under normal circumstances in a Covid free world, this is correct. In today's world, it can take longer. Mainly because now, dealers MUST have an allocation to get a sold order Camaro picked up. Before, even if a dealer didn't have an allocation, they could put in a sold order and GM would pick the order up and schedule it for production. Not so right now unfortunately.

Mine was 10 weeks from the order date back this January to delivery in March, just got built under the wire as Covid closed the plant the week mine was built. I'm only 2 hours drive from the manufacturing plant in Michigan, your in California I see. That may add a week or two to delivery.

As an update to my original question...Ordered an LT1 Sept. 7. and got here on Oct. 24...48 days, apparently they're making these faster.

ordered my car 8/27/2020...just got the word it will be built the week of 11/02/2021 and i hopefully will have it the week before thanksgiving...8-10 weeks

Who knows, you might get it sooner...I never checked on my order...I was going to check next week but got surprised...I ordered a satin steel LT1 with no bells and whistles, only Comp seats, 10 speed, and Infotainment 3...MSRP $39,085.

Update on mine. Ordered 8/15, it was built 9/22, delivered 10/24 so exactly 10 weeks. I was also given the 6-8 week estimate.

Sweet, my dealer said the same and got here in 7 weeks.
