Good Shop for Alignment

Hi Guys,

I attended a lapping event with Touge this past weekend at Shannonville and was totally blown away by the performance of the 6th gen 1LE, note my car is 100% stock (tires, brakes, alignment, etc.)

Shannonville is a more technical/slow track compared to TMP and Mosport. So it was pretty brutal on tires. Nevertheless, turn in and grip was excellent.

I was wondering how much better it could've been if I had track alignment. Now do you guys have any suggestions for a good shop for alignment for the 6th gen?

I only know shops that specialise in JDM/German in Markham (Laidlaw area).
I reached out to Champion Motors and the quote I got was the highest I've ever seen/heard.

I'm new to the domestic scene so any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks.

Note: Within GTA pls (Toronto, Scarb, North York, Richmond Hill & Markham)

GM dealer can set Track alignment. But if you want it more than spec they charge a fee.
Dealer alignment is about $150 if I recall. I got mine done at new roads in Newmarket

Call Scott. Seriously. I drove from Oshawa to have my car aligned, and I promise you, guys drive further.

Setting up cars for the track (...and street/track) is what he does.

He set my C6 up for me, and it drove like a dream, and handled beautifully on the track.

Can't remember what he charged ..... I don't recall it being out of line.

Happy to hear your report of a good time had at Shannonville. It's a very fun track. No, it's nothing like Mosport, but I prefer it to TMP.

Got mine done at Barrie's Georgian GM. No issues getting 2.6F and 1.6R.
Can't recall the price but it was about $100+.
They have a new alignment rig there.
If you choose to go there ask for Tom in service as he knows my 1LE (white) and treats it like an exotic

I gotta ask: what do they do to make a simple alignment an "amazing work"?

Appreciate the responses. I may just go back to Champion Motors in this case, not really willing to drive 1 hour and pricing seems to be in line. I'll let you guys know how it goes once it's done.
