I run 17's and slicks, I love my launch. It gets it.

HAPPY RACING!
Chris, I was looking st the toyo. I figured 315/30’s would be perfect. Almost the same size as what I am currently running.

I thought so. I was trying to figure the impact of the 20in wheel on ET and MPH. So, comparing his car on the 20in dr’s to your times and et’s would be a reasonable point of reference.

Good discussion. Now about that sandbag, that makes me understand some of my problem last weekend. I planned my gas to end up at the track with a 1/4 tank and the car just lit up first like crazy and the first time I went to the drag strip the car hooked and I had 3/4 tank of gas. I was a little upset that I mismanaged my gas first trip to track but I guess now that was a launch plus for sure. I have been AWD in the past with all my drag experience and traction was never a big concern. Need to get back to track now, I like doing a little TNT from time to Time but I know it’s rough on the drivetrain. Lol

I had about a 1/2 tank with the sandbag, so it was pretty close to the same weight as a full tank only the weight was pushed back further in the car. Next time out I will try and hook with 1/4 tank and no sandbag which if I hook would shave 1/10th off my time. It certainly is a balance between weight and making sure you hook.
