Turn rotors?

Dropped car off for new front pads and turn rotors. Advisor said they usually don't turn rotors but replace them. 58,000 miles on car. Shouldn't i get one round of turning before they need to be replaced? They'll check to see if they can be turned, but just curious of any similar situations from anyone. 2016 RS standard brakes

As long as they're not under the minimum thickness after turning, you're good to go. I plan on getting every mile out of mine.
