Best CAI you can get

Best CAI for sound improvement(more muscley)?
Best CAI for better response and HP?
Best CAI for looks?
Best of all worlds?

Mainly sound though cause I know they don't do much HP wise.

Any of those three are good options. Check out the thread below. It has a lot of information about the different intake systems available for these cars. Give it a look and if you have any questions afterwards feel free to shoot me a PM or give us a call.

There are a Lot of Great Options, Part of the reason this question gets asked so many times a day.

I did all of the Cold air intake testing back in 2009 and again in 2010 and provided all the data for all to see and make an educated purchase descision.

Check it out http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...OLD+AIR+INTAKE

My favorites are the CAI, Roto-Fab and Airaid. All 3 provide great gains and have different options as far as looks go, so you can pick which ever one fits your style and preference.

Let me know if I can answer any questions for you.

Best regards,

Tyler

I run the AEM ,wonder why no one runs it ? Maybe the aluminum tubing? I know it's getting the coldest air with filter being dumped way down in inner fender
And it sounds mean!full 4" tubing maf located right before filter and is not overpriced ...got mine power coated to match

I use to run the rotofab before...

Stay away from anything with an aluminum tube!!! I tested a CAI with polished tube against my home made setup and my setup won hands down. I lost power from heat, the tube would get much hotter then the plastic tube and I was traping 1-2 mph less. I iced the tube down and picked up a bit, installed my plastic home made setup and instantly gain my power and ET back. This all done on the same day, I even noticed it on the street on a hot day it seemed sluggish over my owne setup.

You will probably get similar results with any brand just make sure you run the plastic tube!
