disappointed with my 1/4 mile time

so im a A8 car with headers and e85. the DA wasn't bad this day and im also on hoosier drag radials best run i could get is a 11.9 at 113 mph my 60 foot was a 1.7 I've seen a lot of people run low 11s just cant figure it out maybe its my tune?

Are they running low 11s with the same mods as you?

yeah guy up at the same track is running a 11.4 with same mods but he also has the a10

Your MPH seems low to me for that ET. Are you sure you are not letting off at the end?

the car isn't picking up much on the back half, 21 mph. were all of the runs consistent in terms of 1/8-1/4 mph? id still consider 117-118 mph slow for an a8 car with headers and ethanol this time of year.

who tuned the car? any bone stock numbers?

Tune might indeed be a problem on your car, since those times and speeds are like what my A8 SS did when all-stock other than putting DRs on the back (good) and a drop-in air filter (worthless), namely, a 1.7 short time, 7.7@91 in the 1/8, and 11.9@113 in the 1/4. When I did an ECM/TCM tune with E85 (plus another worthless mod, v-max ptb) I ran a 1.6 short time, 7.2@96 in the 1/8, and 11.3@119 in the 1/4. I would expect adding the long-tube headers to make it quicker than that by easily a tenth, and possibly 2 tenths quicker. Did your tune include TCM tuning, or was it just the ECM? Because the TCM tune is an important part of the performance equation. However, those times/speeds are still off what it should do, even if the TCM is still locked, so I think the ECM tune that you received is still under a question mark.

no tcm tune and im about to order hp tuners and try to figure it out myself is tuning pretty hard on these cars?

i dont. it was a dyno tune says i put down 441 hp amd 461 tq
