49k miles here since since I installed mine. No issues whatsoever other than a leaking bypass valve that I replaced at about 20k. Bet you'll be happy soon! GM should've sold them this way

That noise is from the slow blower speed due to the large pulley and low idle rpm. A 3.5+ pulley with a 550-600rpm engines idle speed causes the gear case to make that noise. When you pulley down and/or raise idle rpm it quiets down.
NMCA FSS Coyote's with the larger cubes which NHRA and NMCA allows have just recently run 7.56@184 with the 3.0.
