2016 Camaro 2SS V8 6.2L

Hey there i have been trying to browse this forum about the mylink Driving mode,Engine mode, Steering mode, Suspension mode but i haven't really seen any answers or fix. I have both steering and suspension but no Engine mode? My car has always been stealth mode, Is it meant to be this way ? or is there a fix aside from trying to turn car on and off. Thank you

Do you have 2 or 4 exhaust pipes. Engine sound management only comes on those with NPP- the RPO code- and they have 4 exhaust pipes. If you have 2 exhaust pipes then you do not have NPP.

Does your car have the NPP dual mode exhaust? If not then you won’t see that option. If it does then you might want to pull the F51 fuse and then reinstall it to see if that restores the option to the menu.

Sorry man, but if you want NPP valve control integrated into the infotainment when the car didn't come with it from the factory, it's almost hopeless.

However, you have many aftermarket options that at least give you 4 tips. I think that MBRP exhaust will also work, buy a non-NPP quad tip version and a new rear diffuser (or mod yours), of course. AWE is very popular on this forum, and they only carry non-NPP exhausts.

Very difficult. Look at the GMPP mufflers that replace the stock suitcase muffler. I am told they sound good.

You can still get aftermarket quad exhaust, but you won't be able to add the NPP, but then why would you need it? You'll also need to pick up a different diffuser too. There are many owners who have gone from NPP to an exhaust that doesn't have it, just to have a better sounding exhaust. Good Luck!

Thanks for the answers, i guess i can't get the npp and some people say it's not that worth getting it and i am better of just trying to get this https://mbrpexhauststore.com/mbrp-3-...-black-coated/ and someday work on supercharging it to get a lil bit power and the whine

Is this the first day on the job or what.

You talk about exhaust then adding a blower.

Axle backs are about sound, adding a blower is about adding power, not necessarily how it sounds, though that comes with it. Although the rush of acceleration becomes a greater rush to the senses than the sound, but it all comes together in a euphoric symphony of power & sound that triggers a chemical response of adrenaline & dopamine that, for a true horsepower junky, is rarely equaled, as your vehicle accelerates sends you to a plain of existence of G-forces & neural stimulation like crack rock of a peripheral stimulus.

Ahhhhh....

Anyone else need a cigarette?

Different strokes different folks. Would absolutely buy a turbo if i din’t have a Pro charger for the sound.

Power is definitely important but how it sounds is also. I can appreciate both.

For sure.

Maybe it came across as more sarcastic than humorous, but I extended the latter.
