Makis, take a look at these, they are for a 2018 V8 car
T4F is the RPO for the high intensity discharge headlamps Good luck

Thanks h018871 and appologies for highjacking this thread.
So, according to the DRL w T4F diagram above, if I wanted to fit a set of aftermarket lower fog light DRLs, I should connect the right DRL by tapping into the blue/brown (BU/BN) wire that goes into the right headlight and the left DRL by tapping into the gray/blue (GY/BU) wire that goes into the left headlight. Correct? |

This piqued my curiosity long ago, it's the factory setup in the US and Canada, and there are plenty other cars in Europe with standalone DRL light bodies, so I don't really understand the problem.

That means another potential way around it is to replace the turn signal bulb with a proper, bright amber LED like I did (can't stand those 1990s style halogens on such an amazing car, shame on you for penny pinching, GM) and then take the test with the aux DRLs installed.

Hi guys, I've found this topic because I might have a similar issue.
I have a US imported 2016 Camaro RS bought here in Spain. Unfortunately, the turn signals hyper-flash after 2-3 seconds when activating them. Hazard lights work fine. The mechanic wasn't able to figure out the issue yet and he showed me that the rear signal lights are connected to the front lights. He said this shouldn't be the case and he doesn't know why this is the way it is. He asked for the wiring diagram for the lights, do you guys have it? |
