I think that's a fantastic idea! With a car as good as the 6th gen Camaro is you guys really owe it to yourselves to really try pushing the limits on it at least once. (Autocross is a gateway drug and I am the dealer) Plus it would be really nice to not be the only Camaro there most of the time. You don't need to worry about gear either, we provide helmets and ride along instructors.

With a convertible, SCCA Autocross is likely to be the only motorsports event you will be able to participate in without modifying your vehicle with an aftermarket rollbar. SCCA doesn't require one on vehicles produced after 2006, so you won't have a problem at any SCCA autocross. HPDE events are another story, and many will prohibit convertibles from participating. I hope you can make it out, our first event is March 4th. I will be posting something here soon about it.

Love it. Every time I drive it I just smile.

It is a blast, you will love it. Mjk3888 should be coming up from SC for our first event at zMax in his White 1LE on March 4th so it would be nice to have a bunch of 6th gens there to keep him company. I will post the links to sign up for the first event here shortly since its only 3 weeks from now.

No but yal missed a hell of a meet last night in Winston Salem, well over 100 cars at any given time parked with cars rolling in and out all night long!!! I heard they are going to make it a weekly event now since the attendance was so impressive for the 1st time event.
