Wow, that paint correction work looks fantastic. I've heard of Llumar and Xpel, but I need to get some prep done first, not sure if I will do the prep myself or go with a detailer. I have an old porter cable orbital, but not sure it would be good for polishing.

The modern polishers have dual action, random orbital movement. Less likely to cause damage if you stay in one place too long or are on a ridge line. I'd recommend the autogeek.net forum if you want to get into polishing.

Not yet. I went down to Mobile Tech Expo in Orlando last week and really just got introduced to it. I will probably learn on my Jeep.

The detailer just posted their photos of my car.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/699455...57678006261431

Hope to pick it up tomorrow or Wednesday depending on the weather.

It looks so good, I almost don't want to drive it and get it dirty.

I have Suntek installed on my SS (full front coverage, hood, entire front fenders, rockers, door sills & rear bumper behind rear wheels) & I also have it on my '15 Durango R/T (my daily driver/work vehicle--installed entire full front coverage, halfway up the hood and front fenders & rocker panels). The stuff is is worth every penny! My Durango is 15 months old, has 34K miles and the front end looks fantastic.

I'm getting CQuartz UK applied this spring to exterior & CQuartz applied to interior as well (did same treatment on my Durango).
