Yes, I have a '17 2SS convertible that I just got in May and have done the touchless a few times since I got it just to clean off the dirt between a couple of hand washes.

I have an '06 Mustang GT convertible and have used touchless many times over the years. My issue with the touchless is that it puts the crap spray wax on everything including the windows.

Since the Mustang had vinyl roof and Camaro has the real cloth roof, it is a little different and I won't be doing the touchless that much on the Camaro. I think it is fine in a pinch.

I hand wash my car only.I only used touchless wash once its great for winter when its snowing as I get too lazy during the winter.

This is important
DO NOT TRUST ANYONE WITH WASHING YOUR CAR NOT EVEN YOUR DEALER! YOU ARE THE BEST PERSON FOR THE JOB

But overall, hand wash is the best as it keeps your car paint in a good condition hand wash every 2 weeks to avoid dust gathering under normal conditions,I strongly recommend a rinseless wash (Optimum no rinse is awesome,Its very light on the paint!) use with 2 buckets, grit guard w/wash mit and one of those good quality drying microfiber towel as they reduce paint scratches

use car soap and pressure washer only when the car is too dirty...Paint is very sensitive to chemicals as continuous usage of auto detailing chemicals will cause you problems in the long-run as they can strip away the paint by tearing through the clear coat (Don't get used to auto detailing products for small jobs, they're designed for big jobs!) ,which is why you should only trust yourself ,keep your paint healthy it will remain healthy for many years to come..

You guys track your cars? After a few sessions you may not care so much about your wash. Sand blast, things bouncing of your car, scuffing the hell out of your front spoiler...
