New guy from Louisiana
Hey yall!
I have been browsing this site since I purchased my '16 2SS M6 in July '19. This site is such a wealth of knowledge and info, I hope to help contribute and share my journey with ya. I work and live around the New Orleans area (originally from Lake Charles) and this is my first Camaro. I have always been a corvette fan, but with this being a daily driver this car seems to balance the work/play load flawlessly. I hunted her down all the way in Dallas, previous owner only had 15k miles on it and was an obvious garage queen. I have kept up her appearance and added a few tasteful cosmetic mods along the way (and will continue to do so) along with Opticoat ceramic coating with ppf film. Wouldn't mind meeting up and crusin' with any locals in my area. I was looking forward to CamaroFest this year (first time) but looks like I'll have to wait! Beautiful car, congratulations on your first Camaro!
This is the 3rd Camaro I’ve owned, but I’ve been around them all my life. These cars have a way of getting under your skin in a good way, and I think you’ve started down that path yourself. Enjoy the ride, and welcome to the forum.

Agreed, I was looking forward to making my way to CamaroFest this year with my dad (red C6 pictured) and doing a road trip but with it cancelled I'll just have more time to prep for 2021! |

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Welcome to the Forum and I must say you do have a beautiful ride. Like you I have my first Camaro and ZERO regrets. Have had mine for 3 years now and still in awe. My entire life has been mostly Chevrolet Impalas.
Again, welcome and keep her between the lines. Larry

I was all set up for it and would have been a first timer this year. I’m up for 2021 too!
