2012 Camaro 2LS factory Remote Start
Hello Guys now this is my first post. I called my local dealer asking for a factory remote start install quote on my 2012 2LS and thats when he gave me the bad news that I cant have remote start installed in my car. Is this true??

I was thinking of having the factory instead because I read some posts in here that the vehicle actually does have a module and that it needs to be moved from the dash

You can absolutely get that done at a dealership. That part (as well as the pdim/USB connection) is selling at about half price on many GM parts sites right now. If your dealership says they can't then find another dealership to do it.
