They look pretty good. They were popular on the 69' Mustang Mach 1.

The 6th gen is the 50th anniversary of the Camaro, so it is meant to be retro. In my opinion the louvers add to that retro look and look awesome. American Authority on mine.

No problems here at all. Ive had mine on about a year and a half now. The ikon motorsports louver touches on the bottom when the trunk is open. Thats why I went with American Authority. Had mine painted gloss black. I get compliments all the time. I have a used one for sale I tried painting myself but didn't like the look. It'll need to be sanded and painted.

Louvers have appeal to me, but I do think they look nice on the two cars pictured. What purpose do they serve? Cut down on heat coming in through the rear window?

I got em for looks in all honesty, but as an added bonus, it does help keep the interior of the car cooler when it sits in the sun all day. It regularly hits 115 in the summer where I live.

I'm conflicted, looked bad ass in the 80's on pony cars and even Datsun Z cars. Went to American Authority and they don't list them.

I was on the fence about getting it myself. It took me about 6 months to decide. Wish I didn't wait that long. The car looks naked without it on. I love it. Heres a screen shot I just took from American Authority.
