People putting out monthly cost like it actually represents anything.

I'm sure limits of 500K/500K in NY will cost much more than somebody in the south with state minimums....

Florida with 250/500 500 deductibles, is ~170 a month. Same exact cars in Pittsburgh are ~70 a month.

Your driving record and claim history (clue report) will change these numbers too

Depends where in Florida.

Miami... $2000 deductible... spotless record for 20+ years... $200+ a month.

If that’s a shocker... check the rates for a Porsche 911 Turbo/GT3 anything here. Lol.

That's not to far off what I pay here in N. Cal/SF. It's slightly higher here.

500k CSL
500k UI/UIM
500 ded comp/coll
New car replacement rider
OEM parts replacement rider

Mid 50's no tickets. Wife did have one property damage accident in last 3 years.

Safeco. 12 month renewal period.

Comparing insurance rates without apples to apples is futile.

I could drop everything to 100/300, dump the riders and probably almost halve the policy.

6 month premium - $1812.90 every six months ($302 a month) for two vehicles

I have a high deductible of $2,500 on each vehicle, with $100K/$300K body injury liability and uninsured motorist coverage.

I feel like this is not apples to apples for your situation unless you find someone who lives in your area with a similar car and insurance coverages.

Different states/cities are just going to be more expensive, like Michigan since it's a no-fault state. For full coverage I pay about $150 a month. This is for maybe 7 ish months of the year, then when in storage it's like $30-50 a month, I forget.

even if you match up coverages and locality.

There is still whether or not the insurance company is going to help you or fight against you when you do (if ever) make a claim. That behavior can easily make it worth more to pay more than to pay the least amount. And that's not something you'll ever find a metric for so the entire point of the post is pointless. All you can do is compare rates from within the same insurance company with any sort of certainty.

i have USAA, and it's always been super cheap compared to everyone i talk to. Though, I dont make claims and haven't had to in the 15+ years i've been with them.
