Why wouldn't ARH make a NPP quad tip to begin with... yes please make a quad tip NPP for our cars.. thank you

Flowmasters welded on to my stock NPP tips

Are these mufflers setup internally to bypass any baffle when the valve opens? Otherwise i dont see the NPP doing anything other than turning a dual tip into a single tip muffler. Im trying to grasp how it works mechanically as the pics of the stock NPP in the cutaway clearly show us exhaust gets directed either thru or around a baffled portion of the muffler depending on valve postion.
