I have a question for you Ted if you have a moment. I am looking at putting their 2" system on a 2017 ZL1 along with Roto-Fab intake, Tony Mamo ported throttle body, and probably and upper and lower pulley. From your testing do you think I would be giving up much running a long system to the factory NPP on the ZL1 as opposed to running a full system? My only concern with a full system is possible drone which would be a no-go for me. I just do not know if the stock NPP muffler is all that restrictive or not. Thank you for your time sir.

Hello, I prefer the long system connected to the stock NPP, I really love the dual mode option, I don't think you will give up anything in the way of performance, we made 740 RWHP through a stock NPP muffler.

We carry everything ZL-1 Please let me know If I can be of assistance.

Thank you
Ted.

This is what Ted installed for me, a 1 7/8 ARH long system going into stock NPP on my SS. With the flaps open it screams and I get alot of compliments at the track. Then when just driving around I go full time stealth mode and it sounds good but not attention getting loud.

I am sure if you want Ted can also bump up the power a bit so you can go Hellcat hunting.

Ted, maybe I missed it but have you changed the cam on an auto SS to see what the power would be? I would like a more aggressive sound and power with these limited bolt-ons....don't think you would need a cold air kit as your testing shows the stock box is good?

Since the engines are the same with auto and manual power delta will be the same.

When looking for power every single HP counts.

Ted.

Did I miss your test with a different cam and headers? I have only seen your tests with LTs and cold air kits?? I guess I wasn't clear in my post--looking for a streetable combo with new cam and headers to pump up power....looking to get an A8 ss in the future and would plan on bringing it to you..

We posted our cam testing with supercharger and cold air kits.

I have a line of custom cams for for N/A models as well.

Call me when you are ready.

Yes you can, how about an NPP long system catback to complete my exhaust? I bet you could build one that sounds, looks, and flows a little better than the suitcase.

You can have my car if you want for fitment.
