Actually the car was kinda dirty and I wiped it down with quick detailed. The PPF helps a lot.

LOL, I know hardly nothing about shows. Turns out, they have car show "promoters" So I didn't know anyone. The promoter supplies everything and the judges. evidently they go from car show to car show. They had a late model class from 2000 to present. Not to disrespect other Camaro owners there but I will give an example. They has a few ZL1 1le's there and I told my son, ok we are toast, LOL. BUT once I went up to the cars, sure they had turbos and bigger blowers from my stocker, the cars already looked hammered. When the judge came to my car he was in awe over the paint and the radar/Laser system. I only answered questions he asked, I didn't want to interfere. He spent about 15min on my car. When he was walking away I said to him, "did you take any points from me"? he YES, LOL. of course I said what for. He tells me look under your hood, looks like it was painted on a Friday, LOL. That was the only points off the car. I will say this about my car. When purchased new, it could pass the 5 foot test like most new cars. one foot it was a FAIL!! I probably spent 30 hours on the correction itself. I'm a kook like that, LOL.

Yeah late model classes are common in the bigger judged shows around here. Well the ones that even judge late model cars, a few don't even admit cars that don't qualify for antique plates (gotta be 25+yrs old). The Mistress won a late model class last year with similar competition (about 1/2 of it modified, which judges don't seem to like around here either). It was Pioneer Days in Englewood. All around good time with food, vendors, bands, etc. (car show is just part of it), but they cancelled this year due to Dorian.

You know you're doing it right when they take points off for your car being "too clean."
