If only 4 people in the country have done it, well I would say it isnt as simple as throw the parts on, hit up the track, and your first pass will be a 10.xx
I agree it may not be the norm. But no one claimed that or even a 10.xx run for that matter. The fact that you could give a *stock* Hellcat or ZL1 a good run for $2k in bolt ons was the point that I believe KingLT1 was making...but I don’t want to speak for him. That all said, definitely makes for some good internet discussions.

Maybe I read your first post wrong, because that's kind of what I interpretted from your first post. Some good bolt ons gets you a 10 second slip, on a mostly stock car.

And I was trying to interpret some else’s post on top of that... I guess we could agree that some have done it, and that your results may vary?

E85 kit
Headers (catless full length)
Pray ported TB/IM
Tune
Rotofab CAI

That will put you near 450-475 rwhp range.

There is no way with the below mods on a SS / 1LE you will be near a ZL1 power wise. They put down 525-550 rwhp bone stock. The ZL1 is only around 150lbs heavier than a SS / 1LE, that isnt enough to of an advantage to move past the 100hp more power the ZL1 has to the wheels.

Roto Fab
Ca cat deletes
Flex Sensor
Pray ported IM/TB
Pray Tune

Snowblind was just recently at Atco in his A8 Bolt-on SS outrunning Fraxum's A10 ZL1.

Dyno number don't mean everything. Zl1's weigh 3880-4k lbs. A 1SS weighs 3580lbs, 2SS 3700lb.

Knowing how to take advantage and use the E92 torque based system makes a ton of difference on these cars. Why do you think Pray has bolt-on A8 cars beating Procharged 6th gens tuned by other shops? Yeah those cars are 550-600whp getting drug by a 460-470whp car. Proof is on his Facebook page.

I agree it's not about dyno numbers it's about the driver and the tune.

My thoughts on parts so far

- Kooks 2" w/cat headers ($1500)
- Roto Intake($500)
- Flex Fuel kit ($200)
- E85 tune/installation($800)

What else will I need? Was thinking an MSD Intake/103mm Throttle body but I'm unsure. Any help would be appreciated.

*First Post, please don't bash me too bad lol.
What class do you plan on running at WCF, with that setup? The slowest class is all motor, in which that has become a mid-high 9 second class iirc

Not having a loan on a sports car in the first place would be smarter, unless of course the cost of capital is less than what can be earned invested elsewhere.

"...do what you want to your vehicle. What mods do you buy" I think the OP was implying that the $2K would be used towards car improvements, not reducing debt.
