Some good numbers Steve and great mph but man to have the motor expire is very bad news. Sorry to here that and I had that problem last year and it sucks to have to lay out the bucks to fix it.

If anyone is interested, I may sell the car as is with every spare part i have. My garage is on hold because the assembly crew doesn't come to NY in the winter. They are from NC and told me that AFTER i placed the order. I wont be able to take the car apart until spring. My new car is going to the chassis shop in January and I kind of want to focus on that. Worst case scenario, my car needs a short block ($6000) Best case it has 1 bent rod. Still runs, just noisy lol and has 39 pounds of oil pressure. If it doesn't sell, i'll put a short block in it next spring.
Heres a rundown

2018 with 78xx miles.
Kong performance 2650 blower
Kong performance 112mm Tb
Crawford racing CR fueler port injection with Holley HP ecu and 1300cc injectors
Fore triple 450 intank fuel system -10 feed -8 return
Frankenstein Ported heads
Texas Speed Roller Rockers
Cam Motion LTMax cam
2” Stainless works headers
7 Gallon ice tank with Stewart EMP pump
BMR/Carlyle 15” conversion
BMR Driveshaft Loop
BMR Front Springs
DSS chromoly driveshaft
DSS 1400hp axles (not installed)
Carbon ceramic front brakes (C7 Z06 with ZL1 Hats)
Magnaflow Axle back
Chevrolet performance full Drag pack
Weld 15” S77 bead lock rears
Spare 10L90 with 488 miles
Spare Brand new diff
Spare stainless works axle back.
Probably more that I’m forgetting

Well that sucks. I am kind of going through the same thing after the front snout on the stock crank snapped off on mine and ate some valves when the cam stopped turning. Stock blower too... Oh well, engine is out and is going to be built while I am stuck in the sand box on deployment.

I have a question for you though, did the BMR motor mounts drop the engine enough to reduce the trimming needed for the Edelbrock 2650? I am going to run port injection as well to get away from using so much meth, but that precludes using the Magnusen 2650 as it does not appear to be compatible with port injection. Thanks, and the bad luck sucks doesn't it?

I have the BMR mounts and it didn't change anything on engine placement. Cleared my headers and made more room to work underneath if needed.

Wow! That's a wild failure. Can you elaborate a little more?

Power level?
Mods?
Did it break while racing?

Well, don't want to highjack the thread but 755whp and driving on a tollroad in Dallas on Easter Sunday doing about 90 mph (we were late lol) and engine just stopped running. No bang, no strange sound, just stopped... didn't even realize it at first. Coasted to the shoulder, got out and noticed a little bit of oil under the car. That was a "oh crap, that doesn't look good moment". Had the car towed to the house and started tearing it down to find this. So having LME in Houston build the short block while I am currently deployed and will get it back together once I get back. Just a freak failure according to the guys at AMP and LME, was running stock SC, nothing crazy at all.

Anyway, back to the scheduled program lol.

Wow, that is freak! Thank you for sharing that. Wonder if the belt was freakishly tight or something...

Ok so I pulled the motor Saturday. It’s a bent rod in cylinder 7. The bottom of the piston was in contact with the counterweight on the crank. So now I’m stuck trying to make a decision. Since I am building a new race car, should I focus on that or beef up this block and continue. So while I and deciding, the blower, fuel system, port injection are all for sale. If no one is interested, the block will be beefed up and back in the car.

I would rather sell it as 1 complete kit. Can’t use the blower with out the port injection and can’t use port injection without the fuel system. If someone is interested in the other 2 without the fuel system then I will separate it.
