my old house had rats! rat trap and I used Arbys buns as bait, funny! I set the trap by fence in yard where I could watch from my kitchen. my son commented "you just gonna watch it?" yeah in less than 10 minutes I watched 3 juveniles get closer, braver, closer til SNAP! LOL and this was in daylight! my neighbor had a large pile of branch's on the side of the house(perfect nesting) one day I saw a feral cat carrying one from there to the alley. gotta have traps and cats!

Well...a preferred method is a repellant, especially if you don't have any luck catching it. Repellants work immediately...rather than hit or miss. Mothballs work great for virtually any critter. However, they dissolve quickly if they get wet.
