Could this be a parts supply chain issue? I can see them wanting to de-content the car in a way most buyers would never notice, but funny that it is showing up on some but not others.

If I may pose a related comment and question.
On my 2019 Camaro V6 RS, I added a K&N CAI and immediately started getting Emissions warnings via the Check Engine. When I went to the dealership I was told that the Sound Tube had to be in place as it was utilized by the air filter diagnostic system. Mechanic said this was new for 2019. So I pulled out the CAI system and added a new CAI that included a sound tube as part of the system. This worked for a while, but I'm again getting Check Engine codes even after they have reset the system.
Is anyone else getting Check Engines as a result of plugging the sound tube and/or adding a CAI system?

I plugged mine the day I took it home last summer. I wonder if the part number for the air inlet tube is different for the factory plugged version?

The LT1 trim isn't supposed to have a sound tube. I wonder if the early 2020 V8 cars mostly didn't get the sound tube due to some sort of confusion related to the LT1 trim...

That was my guess too. I just figured my car wasn’t supposed to have one.
