Interesting thing is I don’t think I’ve seen one person with a 2016-2018 with this problem. It’s all 2019+ with a LT4 or LPE pump. (older style) Coincidence maybe but idk.

I’ve also thought about removing the coil from my LT1 HPFP and putting it on the LPE pump and using original harness. That would be an interesting experiment. But potentially expensive if I fubar both. lol

Well set P00CA to no reported. Been running for an hour now with multiple start/stops. Won’t know for sure until I drive it tomorrow but promising.

If the ECM doesn't report it shouldn't go into RDP. I fixed a weird issue on my Acadia where it started showing power steering assist on the dash and the coolant temp gauge would quit working. Did some research and it's a common problem. Supposedly the fix is tear into the engine to replace the thermostat and coolant pipe. On a 3.6 LGX the intake manifold and other stuff has to come off.

Basically what happens is the thermostat starts allowing the system to overcool. Some of the LT1's are prone for this as well. The temps will run 180(which isn't a issue imo) instead of the 196 or whatever. So, I said F that and went in and turned off P0128 which is the coolant temp report code for coolant running under target temp too long. This will flag the BCM to light the dash up, turn the fans on high, and a host of other things on different vehicles. Anyway, haven't had one problem since. Sometimes it's easier to tell the ECM to STFU and just run the engine. Lol

LOL completely agree. I’ll data log for awhile just to monitor everything. Cross my fingers, but not getting too excited yet. I’ve thought I have had this fixed like five times and then it randomly says nope, F you. Haha

Well so far so good. I know folks are probably annoyed with me updating. But I put 100+ miles on the car and she is running good. . No issues yet

So I been having the same issue with my car did that fix figure out it? I have 2020 Lt1 when I did my cam it killed my stock pump so I decided to upgrade to the lt4 pump got the stock gm harness so the pump would hook up no issue. So when the car idles and slow traffic the code triggers and flashes and if I idle for a while it throws the code completely into reduce engine power. Tbh it's only happened 3 times to me, I don't clear the code it goes away on its own, wires look great, logs look great, so I am lost on what to do. Also weird it happens more when I pump gas 91 octane and almost never when I am running full E85.
