Maybe if I could stay and watch everything being done, if not, then no way. I'm too picky about my car to let just anyone touch it. Only reason I'm finally getting my windows tinted is because we talked directly to the owner and he said I could be right there and watch the whole time, something they don't normally allow.

That's what I'm saying; There's no need for them to use a compound/high speed buffer on my new paint. The paint is perfect right now.

I spoke to the detailer and he said they would not touch the car with a high speed. They're just going to clean it, wax it, and shine it up real good. I dropped it off this afternoon.

I'm getting a full interior/exterior detail for free. Cant really complain about that.

Hmm, employer wants to show off my car and will foot the bill for a detailer... perfect opportunity to let a true professional go over it for some much needed paint correction.

Too bad you didn't get enough notice, or else some paint protection film could have been applied to seal in the results of that hard work. LOL

Well, I had the car detailed and it looked great! But, as soon as I got in the car, before I even pulled out of the parking lot, it started pouring rain lol. We had the car parked outside and it rained the whole time. I got no pictures. It was such horrible timing.

That happened to me after I had Xpel and Opticoat done on my car.

Yea I suppose generally the average person could say that. But read this:

I would be extremely cautious with any detailer that uses those terms.
