People arent going to throw a party for you. I learnt the same hard lesson, I bought my 2014 Z and thought a lot of it, and thought everyone did too, until I got it appraised and saw what they really thought of it, 45k that's what they think of it, brand new only a few months old. Love is sometimes shared in a quite lonely place just between you and your car.
Your '14 ZL1 is worth $49k ALL DAY LONG. If they offered you less, they just dont want to sell your car. Could be the weather, could be a Subaru dealership. But dont be depressed just yet. $49 is average mid winter. $50+ come spring.

actually the exposed insert became standard in 2012 as most of the cars ordered with black inserts got the exposed for free since the early black ones sucked and immediately went on constraint. My car was ordered w black insert but got exposed insert free from factory. It would be interesting to see who has the black one still and how many actually got out of the factory
Even if you ordered the exposed insert in 2012, the $600 charge was removed from the invoice.

Only removed and credited back in the USA. We had to pay it!! 99 MY2012's, I guess that 60000.00 was going to break GM Canada lol. There's a guy in my area that got a 12' black auto out of the states with matte black insert and matte black stripe, I don't think there were many of those built

...ok, the LSA is dead moving forward., as well as the LS family along with the LS7. Beyond that <unless Chevy has a bigger cube motor in the works that has not been discussed yet>, no stallworth big block/small block crazy motor as in the LS7 will be unveiled. The LT1 DI is the next platform, as in the production Vette now. Thats the base Camaro V8 in '16 whatever model designation they produce and decide to call it. For uber performance, the 2015 Z06 has the S/C LT4 for '15, along with a Z07 performance upgrade<handling> package that eclipes the modern ZR1. So I say the ZR1 is extinct. The two motors I previously mentioned will be the way forward for powerplants, and they will eliminate lines, unless GM has an ace up their sleeve and another engine configuration.

You think that's for the fleet fuel mileage requirement?
