Tirerack has a list of these guys that you can use when buying tires from them. They come to you, wherever you like; home, work, etc.

Hmmm... Nice... If I get tires from Tirerack I'll have to look into that. I was looking at the MRR 1LE Replica wheels and tires... WOW... PS4 are $525.00/Tire from Tirerack right now.

Returned Wednesday from a 12-day, 2635 mile trip from Long Island, NY to parts South. Stopped in Hilton Head for 4 days, Vero Beach for 4 days, and the rest of the days were travel days/visiting relatives days. Car ran great and I averaged 26.1 MPG (yes I know that it is not 100% accurate but even if it was off 1 MPG it is still impressive) with two adults and a lot of luggage, even with hours of stop and go traffic and some cruising at 80 - 85 MPH. The Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires hugged the road like they were glued to it, even in the rain.

Received a lot of complements on the car and a lot of head turning from other drivers on the highways.

Friday it is off the to the auto spa to get it cleaned up before it takes a long winter nap.

No offence to the Florida members but I forgot how bad ya'all drive. No turn signals when turning or changing lanes. Cutting people off. Failure to move out of the left lane when no one is in front of you and there is a line of cars behind you. I thought NY drivers were bad, and they are, but Fl drivers are the worse.

Very impressive overall mpg if you did 80+ mph plus stop and go for longer periods.

TN drivers are pretty bad, too, but having come from the Northeast, my tolerance level is trained and high At least the majority are conscious of speed limits, which makes them a bit more predictable.

I lived in Florida 27 years and drove in all 48 states in a semi for a few years. There isn't a state that doesn't have idiot drivers. Now I'm up in Michigan... Don't use your turn signal up here to merge or change lanes. All that does is make the drivers in the lane you want to get in speed up and fill what hole was there. I quickly learned to just change lanes with no signal. This time of year you just know half the people on the Florida roads are snowbirds or vacationers that really aren't familiar with the area and do some nutty things. The worst experience driving a big truck was in New York City. I was driving before navigation aids. It was paper truck maps. I made a wrong turn and there was no way out except to back up my semi with a 53' trailer.... Took over an hour and had to get a handful of New York's finest to finally get traffic stopped and allow me to back up around a corner. Anyway, it's getting worse with all the idiots paying more attention to their phone than driving...

Great gas mileage by the way on your trip.

Unfortunately, that seems to be the way most people drive now no matter where you live. My two most annoying pet peevs are people who don't use turn signals and those who ride in the right lane (I call them "Right Laners") no matter how many people are backed up behind them. And there are also so many distracted drivers everywhere now.
