Just had mine put on 2 days ago and I'm loving them so far, I don't notice much noise but then again I usually drive with the windows down so maybe that's why

Just ordered a set of R888R. My 4S are now like roller skates at WOT.

You should've bought Nitto 555R2s, these Toyos will drive you crazy with their monster truck whine.

I looked at those too, but my Lambo friends talked me into the Toyos. Both have a tread wear rating of 100 and a short life, so you shouldn't become emotionally attached to either. My OEM 3Rs lasted only 2,200 miles.

Also, with Kooks LT, hi-flows, and AB, I seriously doubt I'll hear any tire noise.

I tried a wide array of hot tire temps from 32-39 psi and the car was always a handful. I went back to the 3Rs and letting them warm up first before going hard I was able to shave 6 seconds off my lap times at Sebring on the same weekend. Lap times went from 2:26-2:28s to 2:20-2:22s. The car was much more stable and I wasn't fighting the car at all during the laps. The 3Rs also gave me good grip through 2 days where the 888Rs would be ok for most of the first day and then really fall off the second day. Maybe they are better for straight line launches but I wouldn't recommend them for road course or track use.

And yes, they are VERY noisy.
I had a similar experience. I lost 3+ seconds at Thunderhill 3 mi course woth 888R tires vs. Goodyear Supercar F1 3R tires. I did not feel good running them.
