splash guards for my 22 LT1

Want to save my rockers and rear bumper areas, so I'm considering adding splash/rock guards.

Which set would you recommend and why?

I like the rear attachment and fit.

The fronts install by drilling holes, and the video mentions nutserts but seems like they include rivets? I'm wondering if the molding they are using is to accommodate side skirts due to the rocker gap as shown in the pic.

Lots of options. ZL1 Addons, ACS, arpad_m's favorite Rokblokz, and a few more. I have ACS rock guards and love them. They are molded and fit the car perfectly.

No worries Just wanted to mention that this was the one mudflap type guard that does not use metal clips at all, the front guards have a cutout that is pulled over the fender, so it's only plastic touching the paint, not metal. It is 100% reversible without any damage, both front and rear, no drilling extra holes or using claw clips.

The Rokblokz are the ones I would suggest as well. They are easy to fit, great customer service, and 100% reversible if needed.

Maybe they've changed them. From their install video, about 2 minutes in... looks like that metal clip pinches the metal part of the fender.

Aha, I see what you mean, that one is set up so the flat section of the clip is pressed against the fender. You're right in that there is some metal to paint connection, even though it's flat clip backside against a large fender surface area.

However, others use a "claw type" trim clip in the top front attachment position where whose slipback prevention "fangs" of the clip (see red arrows) clamp into the fender, instantly scraping the paint off no matter how carefully you install it, while the Rokblokz has a notch in the plastic (green arrow) that is more gentle on the paint.

do you have any pictures of these. i have it narrowed down to the ACS or EOS. I would like as much coverage as possible while also retaining the good look that is more aggressive than the stock. i am also considering give EOS 1le refresh side rockers a try with this splash guards. I have a blk 1le so i wanted all the parts to be flat blk.

I went with the factory splash guards via GM/Chevy web site. Then sanded and used touchup direct for my color match. And had my dealer install and they are covered under gm warranty.

I am a fan of the Rokblox I put on. I’ve noticed they stop a lot from hitting the paint.
