Inside of trunk lid
Odd question first post
Just got a 2018 Zl1 1le the car is some kind of grey color but the inside of the trunk lid is black and I was wondering if this is correct? The outside of the lid has a black wrap on it I’m pretty sure just don’t want to peel it off and find that it’s black under the wrap. Any thoughts or help would be great |

Maybe it was a new guy working that day, and when the car came down the line for the hood wrap, he mis-read the instructions and instead wrapped the inside of the trunk?

I replaced mine with a new one and it had black primer. Other option is it was replaced by a used black one.

Congrats on the car.
It should be the same color, im not thrilled with gm paint, but my whole car is red |

Thanks for the help it’s weird the underside of the hood is also black. Very odd I even did a vehicle history on it and came back no accidents or anything just odd I guess. And it already has a supercharger coolant tank which looks totally factory.
