Are you saying MYLINK Navigation won't be available in the 1LE?!

Navigation is not an option on 1SS cars.

That said...PDR seems to require the Nav system, so that may be the only way to get the feature in a 1LE...probably a $1795 option overall.

I hope so! I will be opting for the PDR, but If Nav is not part of it, that's another $1200 I'll have to fork out to get the gen5diy navigation upgrade.

...and personally I have no desire for any of that in a track oriented car. I will however add the LPO suede knee pads.

Funny thing is if you made a list of the performance based upgrades on a SS 1LE compared to a 2SS it would swing well in the other direction. All of mater of what you want...

Glad the 1SS/1LE is a good fit for you.

I don't know what you mean about swinging the other direction? The OP, here, asked what he'd be missing out on with 1SS/1LE vs a 2SS. Of course, when speaking about performance equipment, there is more on the 1LE. That's the point.

The 1LE and ZL1's wheels are very strong, yet lightweight forged aluminum wheels...to at least equal their durability, you're going to be spending 3-4k on wheels alone...

And if you're planning to do all those performance mods, anyways...consider that the ZL1's driveline is beefed up to handle it with a 5 year warranty should something fail.

Just a thought.

Agreed. I'm thinking it's going be the ZL1. I'm coming from a 560rwhp C6 Z, so the mods are a must.

Although, the warranty will be gone on the ZL1 as well. I can't leave cars stock. lol

You can use Android auto or the cool-aid variant to send nav up to the screen if you don't want to drop more Ching.

It should be 9 speaker Bose for coupe, right?

A lot of premium features are missing on 1LE. :brokenhearted:

I like all the sensors that can make things easier.

Not according to the website, though it might be mistaken?

I pulled all of those things off of Chevy's compare side-by-side feature.

I don't regret not waiting for 1LE. My Camaro is DD which will be driven during the winter time, unless there is real deep snow (then I'll use Encore - tiny SUV).
The things that I wish I could have from 1LE are: e-diff, Recaro seat with suede insert, , suede on steerting wheels, and those wheels/sticky tires.

I'm still content with what I have.

Agreed. Previous 1LE owner here as well and just upgraded to a loaded 2SS and I like it much better for daily driving. The 1LE really is designed for the track, it is more than just a cosmetic package. From my experience if you really don't plan to track the car then you will be better served spending your money of the creature comforts, etc.

No joke on those Goodyear F1 Supercar tires. They are super sticky and throw every rock and pebble up on your paint. Also, I could only get ~10-12k miles out of them with basic daily driving, I could only imagine how fast one will go through them if you track the car. Keep in mind they are not run flat either, so you need to try and use that tire sealant goop and the air pump to try and get to a tire shop in the event of a flat.

The suede on the steering wheel and shifter were nice for about 6 months and then you realize that the suede gets all matted down and is difficult to keep looking nice. I was watching YouTube videos of folks giving demonstrations of how to carefully fluff the suede back and all this other tedious Bologna. The leather steering wheel is much more practical.
